Crazy Hair!

When Bryse woke up from his nap today he had the craziest hair! Ryan's mom and aunts always tell me how crazy Ryan's hair was when he was younger, now I can see where Bryse gets it! Just so you know, this is not a one time thing. This is pretty much every time he wakes in the morning or from a nap!!

Happy Easter!

Easter was a pretty busy day for us. In the morning we had breakfast and then we did an Easter egg hunt with the kids. We went over to Ryan's parents house at 12. Delaney wanted to play in the water and since it was so hot we put her in her new bikini that the Easter bunny gave her. She was in it the whole day! Bryse was having fun walking around with the push toy but his highlight of the day (besides playing with the eggs) was the fake cat in Keith and Barb's backyard. He wasn't sure if he could play with it or not..it was pretty funny watching him get close to it and then back away.

We went to my parents house around 4. My dad bought this HUGE blow up water slide/pool. Delaney had a blast playing in the water and going down the slides with her cousins. The kids had fun hunting eggs and really enjoyed the cookies that they decorated at the end of the night.

All in all it was a great day but we were all pooped by the time the day was over!!

Summer Girlfriend Wanted

The girls at Ryan's work got this onesie for Bryse and it is one of my favorites. He looks soo cute in it! So look out girls...this little man is on the prowl for a girl. Who could resist him with the phone number on his butt!

It's beautiful outside!

It was such a nice day out so we had to go out and play. Delaney is all about her big wheel but is afraid to put her feet on the pedals. Bryse just cruises around all over the place with his push toy. They've been having so much fun together and keep their noses to the window waiting for me to take them outside everyday. I wish I knew how to take my voice out of the video...I sound so silly!

Las Rocas, Mexico

We went to Mexico this weekend to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. I can't believe that we've already been married 3 years!! We stayed at one of our favorite resorts just outside of Rosarito called Las Rocas. Our great friends Bill and Jenn went with us and we had a blast! We have so much fun whenever we do anything with them. We are very grateful that we have such amazing friends. Great people, great food and a great place. Life doesn't get much better!!

Swim Lessons, a Messy Eater and a Toga Party!

Delaney started swim lessons last week and is doing pretty well. She's in the class with Bailey, Allyson and Luke so that seems to help her. When she had her tubes put in we were so adament about not getting her ears wet but now that they're out she still seems hesitant. She'll get the hang of things soon. Hopefully by this summer she'll be our swimmer girl!!

Bryse is all about doing things himself (he's learning it from Miss "I'm going to do it myself" Delaney). So last night I let him feed himself dinner and it was hilarious!! I couldn't stop laughing! He loved it!! He had more on him than he got in his mouth but it made for some great pictures!

On Sunday we celebrated a bunch of Norris Family birthdays at Stephanie's house. It was a Toga Birthday party so we all looked our Toga best and ate Greek food. It was a great time. We can't wait to see all the funny pictures that Stephanie got on her camera. Stephanie sure knows how to throw an excellent themed party!

Disneyland

We went to Disneyland as Delaney's reward for being a big girl who doesn't wear diapers. We had a blast. Delaney got Tinkerbell painted on her face (she loved it when Kodi Lynn had her face done with Tink on our last Disneyland visit). My parents went also and had to buy Delaney a light up princess crown that she wore the whole day. Bryse really seemed to enjoy the day but was getting bored being held all day....he wanted to crawl/walk around!! And as always, the parade at the end of the day was the highlight. Delaney could watch it every day and not get tired of the characters. When she woke up the next morning she was naming everyone that she saw. Disneyland really seems to be such a treat for us now since Delaney loves it so much. I can't wait until Bryse gets older and can appreciate it too!

Valentine's Day Playdate

On Valentine's Day we had some friends over and had a playdate. We had the best time!! The kids made pizza, cookies and Valentine's Day cards for the daddies! The day was so great (even when the power went out because of the wind). We're so lucky to have such great friends to spend time with. We can't wait for our St. Patrick's Day playdate at Eileen's house!

The kids are growing up so fast!!

I'm very excited to say that Delaney is a big girl now!! She drinks out of big girl cups and ....she no longer wears diapers! I knew as soon as she figured out what life was like without diapers she'd never wear them again. She's so proud of herself and has impressed all of us with how fast she learned. It seems as if she's grown up overnight. Today was registration for Preschool. That was tough. I totally cried when I drove away. Is she ready for this? I know I'm not!



Bryse is so big now too. He's already almost 9 months old!! He's crawling everywhere and cruising on everything. He wants to walk so bad so that he can chase Delaney around. I was so surprised last week when I realized that I am having problems producing any more milk for him so now he is strictly on the formula. That hit me hard! It must be nature's way of telling me to let go....and the fact that he has teeth and kept on biting me when I was nursing him helped too!



Preschool registration and no more breastfeeding in one week! I'm soooo sad!! My babies aren't babies...Where did the time go?!?!
